Our big metal panels have now been sprayed the lovely base blue that will be the background for everything. So even if we stop now and install 41 big metal panels in pale blue, we are ahead of the current situation at the bridge!

Here are the pale blue panels fresh from the oven with little spacer blocks of wood (or ‘non-conductive insulating heat distribution and laceration protectors’ in the words of sardonic VE expert Tony Kidby, explaining things to naive Chiswickian questioner).

And here’s three panels standing together pretending they are already one map. (Three panels = one map)

Abundance London is creating a huge artwork under the railway arches at Turnham Green tube. There will be a timeline of historic maps showing the development of Chiswick through the centuries, with works of art depicting local landmarks by some of the amazing artists who live and work in our area.
