We are proud to announce the publication of a commemorative book to accompany

The Chiswick Timeline: A History in Art and Maps.

This artefact, with an original pattern cover and ingenious concertina design by Starch Green, has been printed by Pureprint, award-winning environmental fine art printers.

It tells the story of the mural, from inception to manufacture. Each map, from John Norden’s 1593 Map of Middlesex to Legible London’s 2018 way-finder is lovingly reproduced in large scale. The accordion design means that the book can be extended to create a striking cartographic frieze. The images depicting Chiswick landmarks, including original works of art by Sir Peter Blake and Jan Pienkowski, which were commissioned specially for the mural, are also celebrated in the book.

The book contains historical information about each map and picture, creating a vibrant history of Chiswick – in art and maps.

Sorry, online sale have now closed.
